For our Finance Team in Berlin or remote we are looking for an ACCOUNTANT / CONTROLLER (all genders) who impresses with first-class know-how, humour and the ability to work in a team.

You master the following tasks...

• Responsibility for all strategic and operational processes in the area of controlling/accounting - especially for the French subsidiary
• Preparation and further development of controlling-relevant key figures, management reporting and financial controls
• Preparation and translation of management objectives into figures within the framework of intra-year forecasts & corporate planning
• Development of new controlling instruments
• Checking and account assignment of incoming invoices
• Reconciliation and maintenance of debtor & debtor accounts
• Support with monthly and year-end closing according to French GAPP
• Sparring partner for the managers and decision makers of the business units
• Support planning and budgeting, including cost control and preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Carrying out ad-hoc and high-level analyses / Big Data

You are exactly right with us if...

• Successfully completed commercial training, preferably with further training as a balance sheet accountant or comparable studies
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• A strong understanding of complex accounting issues (French GAPP)
• A strong understanding of business processes
• Good knowledge of von Sheets and MS Office applications
• Very good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of German is an advantage, but not a must
• A hands-on mentality as well as an analytical, structured and independent way of working
• Good communication skills and enjoy working with external people and colleagues
• Flexibility, initiative as well as interest and willingness to take on new challenges
